ead it is classrooms filled of tutu bearing girls and balet dancing boys. Could prove to be an interesting clash of dance technique huh? Not only is this movie good for a couple of laughs from the sharp witted Andie, but the viewers are given a new outlook on the ways of the streets. Step Up has yet to fail in bringing in attractive actors and actresses and bringing into the plot a romantic love story. This movie shows people a way to overcome the differences of where they're from and move forward, advancing towards what they want most. This movie teaches a motivational lesson. Though, on the more critical less sappy side of things, the plot of the movie is just ok; not spectacular but not the worst by any means. Once you've heard the plot and what the movie is about you pretty much can guess what will happen. The acting is done by mediocre actors with no really well known cast members to make the movie stand out. Though I have to admit it was pretty good for having very few well known members.
Of course if your over the age of let's say 25 you may think this movie is just full of gang violence, awful dance moves, and just as bad hip hop music. Well you may be right but this movie with all the new hip dance moves and music appeals to most teenagers but adults may not like the style of movie at all. Compared to the original movie I'd say this one is about the same; simmilar plot and acting, but is overall pretty interesting to watch with the exception of it being fairly cliche. This movie is not necessarily a must see but I would reccommend it if you ever need something to do or just want to watch a fun intertaining movie. I'm not sure if it was worth the almost $8 to see in theaters, but it's not a bad movie to say the least.

I loved this movie! Of course the first Step Up was better but this one was great too. The plot in the second one was probably more interesting though because they have to deal with Andie and her being a part of "the streets" and also trying to get in to the school. I thought this movie was exciting and actually made me laugh in some parts! I recommend going to see this film; I give it a thumbs up. =]
I can't stand all of those movies like Step Up, Bring It On, and You Got Served. It's pretty much the same thing over and over again. Hey look we can dance! Oh, so can we, but we're better! Let's dance and fight about it!! Yeah.... that's just my 82 cents. I do love all movies though, no matter how... bad. I like your reviews though!
I really like your reviews Movie Markup Madness girl, since we are both reviewing movies we can do double the reviews and be able to know which movies are worth seeing. I do agree with Gonino though, I'm not really into the whole dancing thing because how can you really tell who is better? Who is to say which dance is cooler? I don't know. It might be easy for some people. Thats just my opinion.
I thought that Step Up was much better than Step Up 2 "the streets". The original kept me interested throughout the entire movie plus I can watch it over and over and never really get bored. I don't believe that Step Up was like all those other dance movies, well the 2nd one is but not the first. The Streets is completely cliche and I think the actors were terrible, but it was still entertaining. Great review. :)
